Same Time Next Summer by Annabel Monaghan

I think Annabel Monaghan has landed on my auto-buy list.

My first read of hers, Nora Goes Off Script, had a premise that promised fun: a movie star moves in and won’t leave? Yes please.

This new one promises a little more pain than that. Our heroine returns to her family beach house to plan her wedding… and the man who broke her heart eighteen years ago decides to turn up next door.

Ouch, right? I knew Ms. Monaghan would destroy me, and she did not disappoint! This is a super romantic book of second chances. The writing is out of this world, and the characters just sing on the page. I loved every achy breaky minute of it.
