The Sunshine Girls by Molly Fader

This is a historical drama. And while it’s romantic, it’s not a romance. It would probably be classified as women’s fiction.

What a ride! I loved trying to guess the twisty turns as we go back in time to see how the ordinary midwestern woman ended up best friends with a movie star… but never told anyone. I also loved the depiction of their traditional 1960s nursing school. It’s wonderful.

Get the tissues, though! You will need them before the journey is through.
